Ingredients Required (For 4 Persons)

Paneer 250 gms

Matar(Peas) 1 Cup

3 cloves of Chopped Garlic

2 large onions

3 medium Tomatoes

2 -3 Green Chillies

1-inch Adrak(Ginger)

Coriander to Garnish

3 -4 Cloves

1- 2 Green Cardamom (Elaichi)

2 Spoon Meat Masala – (Generally I used Tata Sampann Masala)

8 -10 Cashew Nuts (Soaked in water for half an hour)

1/2 cup of milk

3/4th cup Fresh Cream

3/4th Spoon Chilli Powder

1/2 Spoon Turmeric Powder

1/2 Spoon Salt Or as per Taste

1 Spoon Coriander Powder

3/4th  Spoon Black Pepper  Powder

10 -12  Crystals of Sugar

For Tempering (Tadka) – Ingredients

3/4th Spoon Chilli Powder

1/2 Spoon Coriander Seeds

Tinch of Hing Powder

3-4 Dry Chilies

2 Spoon Butter

Steps to Prepare

Cut Garlic, Onion, Ginger, Green Chillies, Tomatoes into 4-5 pieces respectively.

Heat Kadai and add butter in Kadai. Add garlic, onion, Green Chilli, Tomatoes and Ginger in it and saute it for 8 -10 minutes on medium heat.

Add Chilli Powder, Turmeric, Salt, Coriander, Black pepper, Sugar, Cloves, Cardamom and meat masala in it, mix it and keep aside to cool it.

Grind Saute vegetables and soaked kaju in a mixer grinder for ½ to 1 minute to make a paste of Mixture.

Again put masala paste in kadai and start to saute it again till oil leaves aside

Add fresh cream and milk and mix it well into the gravy. Keep the mixture on kadai for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.

Add Boiled peas (matar) into it.

Heat Tawa and add ghee or butter with a tinch of salt. To fry paneer Cubes into it.

Add Paneer Cubes into gravy mixture.

For Tadka Heat Pan and add 2 spoon of butter on high flame. Switch off the gas and add few coriander seeds, hing, dry chillies and chilli powder.

Transfer Matar paneer gravy from kadai to bowl Garnish it with coriander and pour tadka over it.

Your Tadka Matar paneer is ready.
