Planning to prepare some sweets on these rainy day, Try this instant jalebi for tommorow’s breakfast. It will take only 15 minutes to prepare.
- 4 teaspoon sour curd or 1/4th cup sour curd
- 1 cup or 100 gms maida
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 400 gms Sugar
- Desi ghee or refined to fry
How to prepare Sugar Syrup (Chashni)
- In a pan take 400 gms of sugar and 200 gms of water in it
- Start preparing it on low to medium flame
- heat it till it will convert to approximtion of 1 Taar ki chashni
- Tip: no need to prepare 1 taar ki chashni. consistency should be less then 1 taar.
How to Prepare Jalebi Batter
- In a bowl add 4 teaspoon curd
- Add 100 gms maida
- Add 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Add tinch of orange or yellow Food Color/kesar for color
- Now start adding water and mix it slowly
- Mix it till it convert to smooth batter as shown
How to prepare Jalebi
- Fill batter in cone or tomato ketchup bottle.
- Add desi ghee in flat pan and heat it on medium flame
- Now start creating shape of jalebi in kadai and use tongs to fry it. Fry in on low to medium flame. Fry it till it turns to golden brown.
- Now add jalebi’s in sugar syrup
- Your Hot jalebi’s are ready to serve
